Thanks for your support of the show. I would like to point out a some obvious differences between this show and our previous ones. First, you’ll notice that the name has changed from Dimension X-Files to The Breakdown: Declassified. There are some reasons for this, so allow me to briefly explain.
In doing the show, I am trying to have brand consistency and ensure that it doesn’t get too confusing, mainly for me. The other reason is that Dimension X-Files is such a cool name that it inspired me to begin another project, one that has been rolling around in my noggin for some time. So, I want to keep that asset different from The Breakdown. I’m sure most of the details of what the next step for DXF is, but as for now that should suffice.
The second thing I’d like to point out is the lack of video this week. In trying to find the best product to stream the show, there are inevitable technical difficulties. They have manifested themselves in sound and video. I captured video for this episode, however, it echoed and sounded bad. But I had captured an audio backup because after doing this for fourteen years you learn that you always want a backup. Always. Never let someone tell you not to take too many steps to back up all your content. After spending hours trying to match up the video and audio, I decided that this episode would have to be without the visual component. But it’s still fantastic, and you’re going to love it.
